Ontario Drive Clean Accredited Test and Repair Centre in Stittsville

The Ontario Drive Clean program is a mandatory vehicle emissions testing, inspection and maintenance program. In order to receive and/or renew your vehicle registration and license plates in Ontario, you are required to receive and pass an emissions test. If you are renewing, the Ministry of Transportation will notify you if your vehicle is required to receive an emissions test.

Ontario’s new Drive Clean test is faster and more accurate. Our on board diagnostic or “OBD” test works on most light duty vehicles in Ontario from 1998 or newer. These vehicles have an on-board computer that monitors the engine and emission system during everyday driving.

The new test reads the emissions information in your vehicle’s computer. It can detect problems that often lead to poor performance, high emissions or poor fuel economy.

If your vehicle does not pass the emissions test, then you are required to take your car in for repair. You can bring your car to Canadian Auto Mall Service Centre and we can test your car to find out why it did not pass and perform the needed car repairs.
